Hello,
I am having 3 yrs exp in ITIL (but no certifications) and the job is based in Chennai city where I live.
What salary can I expect for the job role of Change Manager in a very reputed company at Chennai?
Should I expect 3 to 4 lakhs per annum OR 4 to 5 lakhs per annum?
Awaiting responses to my above query.

The biggest factor in salary variations for a role is probably the size and complexity of the employing organization as that significantly impacts the practical nature of the role. _________________ "Method goes far to prevent trouble in business: for it makes the task easy, hinders confusion, saves abundance of time, and instructs those that have business depending, both what to do and what to hope."

Come and work in Australia and you can earn 30-60 lakhs per annum.
But a house will cost you 150-500 so it is all relative. |

I know this doesn't give you the answer you are looking for but I've found Change Manager jobs in the UK paying anywhere between £25,000 and £100,000 per annum. Also, I don't think many companies would employ a change manager with only 3 years ITIL experience and not qualifications (unless of course that company has never heard of ITIL).
In addition, I would recommend that you don't say you've got three years ITIL experience because it means nothing. It's like saying you can speak Chinese, when in reality you can only ask the way to the train station? It would be better to state that you've actually done (e.g. three years Service Desk analyst).
Hope that helps.

It also depends on the economic climate, which could affect your starting salary _________________ DYbeach

Doesn't company tell you what the range for the position is? If salary is not specified I always ask. I know people say it's not a good idea to ask about it, but hey... there are way of doing it without seeing like you're after the money. And if the salary is not what you are looking for it will save you and the company some time. (time is money ) |

sometimes the title Change Manager" is used for the gopher who runs around driving through a change and sometimes it is for the person who looks after the whole of Change Management and probably it means other things as well. _________________ "Method goes far to prevent trouble in business: for it makes the task easy, hinders confusion, saves abundance of time, and instructs those that have business depending, both what to do and what to hope."
