After looking at the MOF resource, put it away and think out what your purpose and mission really is. _________________ "Method goes far to prevent trouble in business: for it makes the task easy, hinders confusion, saves abundance of time, and instructs those that have business depending, both what to do and what to hope."

And after all that, you still can't find what you're looking for, have a look at the Si(x)th book.
Seriously, for me the word aligned has a very high meaning. How can you say that your processes are aligned with ITIL if you don't know what the mission statements are.
However, you can take a look at the ITIL Open Guide. It contains mission statements of each processes.
After answering John's questions, take a look at Microsoft Operations Framework Mutuelles senior (free docs to find at technet etc.). This will help you with mission statement, team and role description etc.
Yes, but free documents are not complete at times. It might be tutorials to be able to assimilate the trick.
