I'm confused. What's the difference between data governance and data management? Which one includes editing metadata?

Data management is all about managing data as a valuable resource. That includes metadata editing. While Data Governance in a way I read about is related to rules or standards in taking care of a company's system.

Thanks. We were having talks about data governance back then. My co-worker asked me, "What is data governance?" and I couldn't give her an exact answer.
