You can take the ITIL 4 Managing Professional Transition Course if:

1. Are an ITIL Expert (V3)
2. Have 17 or more credits from Foundation & Intermediate/Practitioner/Manager modules from previous versions.
3. Hold an ITIL 4 Foundation Certificate and 15 credits from the ITIL V3 Credit Scheme

Hello, Great question. AXELOS has released ITIL 4 Foundation only and we do not currently have any notification on when the rest of the courses will be developed. Been getting a lot of questions on when the rest of the ITIL 4 courses will be released. Checked with AXELOS just now and most likely AXELOS will release more information sometime summer 2019. As soon as we hear anything we will let you know.

ITIL 4 is the latest version of the exam and you can book it with PeopleCert or any Accredited Exam Organizations (AEO). Exams are given online and in person at test centers. A good question came in privately to me: ITIL is valid for Life Time, i.e once you are ITIL V3 Foundation certified, it means you are certified for lifetime. If you are ITIL V3 Foundation Certified you can take an ITIL 4 Foundation Bridge course to speed up the certification process. ITIL 3 has 26 processes and ITIL 4 adds 8 more now called practices. The ITIL 4 Foundation exam tests on 15 of the 34.
