In general wanted to know the difference between the 2 terms. Is it Work Around (Service Restoration) and doing an RCA( to get to Service Recovery) as i definately feel that we need to recovery from the issue to restore the service.

Also added to it may be SLA reporting. I guess you need to know the SLAs first and the breaches u have in it. This could also give u a hint towards continuous improvement.

Fyi... those who have cleared the exam from ISEB they would have to contact their Service desk and then get the batch delivered from itSMF

ISO 20000 and ITIL V3

How do we match up ITIL V3 and ISO 20000. What I read about ISO 20000, it was aligned to ITIL V2. Now that we have V3 in place how are we aligning both of them? Or is there some other refresh for ISO coming in too? :roll:
