Hi,
I wonder if anybody has a good idea which KPIs would be good ones for a global Asset Management?

Cheers

Hmm

Let's see

# of people who are not et - less assets come to mind

Andy

Seriously

What do you want to say with the KPIs first

You sjould figure out what the KPIs 'say'

For example:
accuracy
# of records
time spent
etc etc

Hi John,

good question. Currently we are rolling out hardware asset management globally. I thought it might be a good idea to name a set of KPIs so that the target countries won't be surprised later on.

Hello Andy,
What processes are being used to manage the rollout? Is there a mixture of desktop and datacentre equipment? Is there a central repository for the asset register (or CMDB). What processes are being deployed to ensure the integrity of the record keeping after the rollout - for example for the move and change activity that is ineveitable. What is the view from 'finance' regarding the 'fixed asset register' - KPI's needed to keep them sweet? How will the assets be supported - KPI's needed around support inventory quality?

More questions than answers ....
