Hi,
I would like to understand the difference between request and restoration in this scenario:
Consider, one of the user is having login issues into a system. for which he knows that his existing session has to be terminated for him to be able to login. Now, will this be qualified as a request or a restoration?
Request or restoration purely depend upon the exact issue, but I would like to know if user requests to restore anything, wil that be considered as a request or a restoration?
Another query is whether password resets have to be requests or restorations.

I have not heard of restoration of a revoked account. This should follow the request process as the correct levels of authorization is required.
Restoration sounds as if the account was deleted/removed by accident - As in an incident.
Therefore, it may depend on whether the account access was revoked or an incident removed the rights (administration error, application error, etc.)

This can be called IAM process (Identify Access Management).
