This is how to do it!

found on a support forum:

punter:

I've got a complicated problem and my hostsite support have asked me to get help from the product support. Here's what's wrong and a copy of my emails with the host: bla bla bla...
------

(professional) consultant on forum:

It looks like your hosting company isn't very professional. bla bla
What I would advice you is bla bla...

Then, I would recommend you to switch server, since those guys don't seem to know anything about [product].

For instance I would be glad to get you on board: [url]

punter:

That didn't help. Any more ideas?

(professional) consultant on forum:

Back everything up online and offline and try this: bla bla...
by the way have you recently added plugins?
----

punter:

No.
By the way I'm looking at another provider; currently I'm with [name].com

(professional) consultant on forum:

That is the hosting company that I use, recommend and resell myself.
So what we could do is to either switch you to one of my dedicated servers, or to offer you paid consultancy for fixing your issue.
If you are already with them I would say that you are in good hands, as I really believe they are an excellent hosting environment.

..... [later] the "or" changed to "and" :- switch at a price and consultancy at a price.

Oh what a lovely war!
