hi every body
Does the request fulfillment process include RFC and release and deployment activities?
I mean in request fulfilment we have the activity called “request authorization”, so if the request is authorized to fulfill what is the need for authorization in change management through RFC?
And also is it ok to invoke RDM process for fulfilling the request or not? :)

A request fulfilment process is NOT the same as a Change Request for the most part

1 - a service request can be - I need MS access installed on my device or I need to order a new chair for my desk or such that

2 - A Change Request is a systemic piece of work - for example - Upgrade the 10 production servers to OS XX Service pack 3 which will cause outage to the service. The Release & Deployment activities would include testing the deployment in Non Production - the process of doing the install and the impact to the customers applications on that OS / system

It also depends on how the Change Mgmt policy is defined
