As part of the IT Service Manager role your main responsibilities will be to:
Manage an IT outsourced provider responsible for delivering services around areas such as; Helpdesk, Service Desk, Data Centre, Systems, Networks and IT Security.
Review St Andrew's Healthcare's IT service landscape, weighing up sourcing options.
Create the IT service strategy for St Andrew's Healthcare for the next 1-5 years.
Implement robust ITIL processes with the initial focus on Demand, Problem, Incident and Transition management.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders at St Andrew's Healthcare to understand service needs and priorities.
Set in place measures to reflect and monitor service and customer satisfaction.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in your application for the IT Service Manager role you will:
Have a strong background in IT service management, developed from technical experience.
Demonstrate experience of successfully managing third party partners.
Have implemented, enforced and matured robust ITIL processes within service environments.
Have a good all round knowledge of ITIL processes, with experience of implementation and management
Be able to demonstrate creating IT service strategies and ideally having presided over periods of IT service change.
Be able to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Ideally be ITILv3 certified
